Below are Roatan Maps for the entire island. Some of the maps are only of a portion of the island of Roatan. The first map (Roatan Map) is of the entire island. Helpful tips

Roatan has one main road running through it, so it is almost impossible to get lost. One main road runs the length of the island. There are a few roads that veer off the main road, and most of these roads loop back around to the main road sooner or later. There are several sections of the road where you can see the ocean on both sides of the road. Roatan is a mountainous island, so winding roads are the norm.

Do you need a Map?

Roatan Maps are a zoomed in bird's eye view of a certain section of Roatan. The Maps also include key points of interest along the main roads. Roatan Maps are easy to read and are there as a general guide for how to get around the island. But don't be too legalistic about navigating Roatan, remember, you're on an island so be sure to relax. 

 

Why do you need a map?

Which map should you download? 

If in doubt, download all maps. At a minimum, start by looking the map of the entire island over. Once you have decided what part of the island you'll be staying in, then you can download and print the map of your area. 

Can I use my cell phone? 

Yes and no. Cell phone coverage is still expensive for international travelers. Moreover, cell phone service is slow and spotty. Internet hot spots are available, but most require setting up passwords. Roatan Maps allow you to travel off the grid and they allow you to get around the old fashion way, with a map. 

In closing, take note of the fact that many hotels have some form of a map offering which can also help you get around. But if what you want is a clean Roatan Map without a whole lot of added information which you may or may not be interested in, then download our Roatan maps with confidence.
