Registrations Open for the 8th ACROPORA Roatán Eco Trail Run 2026

The 8th ACROPORA Roatán Eco Trail Run returns on August 1st, 2026, inviting runners of all ages and experience levels to race for a cause and help protect the natural beauty of Roatán. Organized in support of environmental and community initiatives, this annual event combines fitness, conservation, and island spirit into one unforgettable experience.

Run for the Reef

Participants can choose from four race distances — 2K, 5K, 10K, or 20K — making the event accessible for beginners, families, and experienced runners alike. The race begins at Palmetto Beach Bay at 6:00 AM and finishes at Roatan Island Brewery Co.

Supporting Conservation & Community

Every registration directly contributes to important projects in Roatán, including:

• A community center in Crawfish Rock

• Coral restoration efforts in the Bay Islands Marine National Park

• Waste management programs focused on protecting local reefs
