PADI Discover Scuba Diving | Price: USD $155.00 per person

Don’t have a dive certification or not sure if diving is for you?!

Come try an introductory day! While this is not a certification course, the Discover Scuba Diving Program is a safe, fun, and easy way to get your first experience in the underwater world.

You will be with one of the PADI instructors, learn how to use scuba gear, and get comfortable by taking your first breaths underwater.

How long does it take?

This is a half day experience that is divided into 3 parts:

Theory: you will begin by watching a video in the classroom and get an introduction into scuba theory, dive equipment and basic skills
Confined water: after the briefing with your instructor you will go to Half Moon Bay and learn basic skills in confined water with your instructor
Dive: finally, you will get on board one of the boats to do an open water dive and enjoy our precious coral reef under perfect conditions with your instructor

What next? If you fall in love with scuba diving and want to become a certified diver, you can continue your training and become a PADI Open Water Diver in only 2 more days.

What will you learn?

Even though this is not a dive course, during your PADI Discover Scuba Diving you will learn how to:

Use scuba gear
Use hand signals to communicate
Perform basic scuba skills

Available for ages 10 and up, it is the perfect experience for the whole family!

Fun Diving

As a boutique operation, Roatan Divers cater to small groups and focus on personal attention, comfort and safety. Roatan Divers has their own docks for easy boarding, 4 fast custom designed dive boats, and keep their groups and service very personal. All the dive equipment is new and well maintained, also the compressors and tanks.

Dive Times

They are 3 single-tank dives per day:

9:00 AM
11:30 AM
2:30 PM
Night Dives - Tuesdays and Thursdays

While the team handles tank changeovers, you can enjoy a hot water shower and complimentary beverages during the surface interval!

All the dives are guided by experienced instructors, who pick the sites for the day based on weather and water conditions, as well the certification and experience levels of the divers.

Roatan Divers prioritize safety and a personalized diving experience by maintaining a maximum ratio of 6 divers per instructor.

The dive groups are carefully organized based on certification levels and individual experience, ensuring each diver receives appropriate guidance and enjoys a comfortable, well-matched underwater adventure.

Open Water Course | USD $530 per person

If you want to become a certified diver, the PADI Open Water Diver is perfect for you.

The Open Water certification is the first autonomous scuba certification level, which means that you don’t need the supervision of a dive professional. You will also be able to dive to a max. depth of 18 meters / 60 feet.

The Open Water Diver is the most popular entry level scuba certification in the world and will open up many dive sites for you to explore and have fun!

How long does it take?

This is a 3-day course that is divided into 3 parts:

Knowledge Development: you will begin by completing the PADI eLearning from the comfort of your home without wasting time with classroom presentations during your vacation. We will send you your PADI E-Learning Material ahead of time.
Confined Water: in your first day you will complete 5 confined water dives with your instructor.
Open Water: afterwards, you will get on board on the boat to do 4 open water dives with your instructor.

This course will allow you to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters / 60 feet.
